I’ll have a fresh batch of Gumheads in the upcoming show. This will be the last drop of Dubble Bubble and Very Berry Gumheads for the foreseeable future, so save the date if you want to score one! July 13th at Galleria Regina. A Gumhead getting its arms. These little guys are double cast, which is just what it sounds like. After casting and painting the core, I fit it into a second mold to cast the translucent layer.

Just finished casting all the core forms for this double cast toy. Colorways will be pink and purple, with lots of sparkles. Stay tuned!
From sculpt to unpainted cast
To get the metallic effect, I dusted the mold with Magic Cast powders before pouring the resin.
