This is my favorite part! I’ve always found repetitive detail work meditative 🌤. The last two Very Berry Gumheads go up for sale on my web shop tomorrow 5/5 at 1pm Eastern time goldfishunderwater.com
Tiny piece of a bigger thing ready for silicone
Progress
Progress on a flower sculpt with my new dust collection set up. 🌬 This one is so close to being ready to mold!
#tbt to the time I made tiny art tools for this Dunny custom
Color is the concept in this one, the splitting apart and fusing of it as we create. The Dunny is finished with holographic pigment and its face rainbow ends in a glitter cloud.

Trying out time remapping on process videos.
I’m new to video editing, but starting to have fun with it. The learning never stops!
Close up 📸
I recently got my first macro lens, and it’s very cool to see things so much larger than life. IRL this head is about 1 inch wide.
All the little monsters with their new teeth, ready to get arms
Mixing paint for more monster teeth
This is the gum color ☂️ I keep my paints in little bottles with a glass bead inside for easy mixing when the paint separates. 🌪
🦷 Painting tiny teeth 🖌
This is my favorite part! The details are always the most satisfying. Each tooth is about an eighth of an inch wide.
Before and after paint.
Gold, green, blue, purple. 🌖 I sculpted epoxy clay over a wood sphere using the tools in the last photo.
This week Spectrum gets to go to a new home!
Here are some collected photos from behind the scenes.
How are Gwilliams made?
I always enjoy reading about other people’s process, so I thought I’d share some of my own. Here’s some information about what went into the creation of the Gwilliam Finger Puppets. You can buy them online for a limited time and have a creepy cutie of your own! The finger puppets and other prizes are helping to raise money to cover production costs for Brian Lonano’s upcoming short, Gwilliam–a gross love story between man and goblin, starring William Tokarsky of “Too Many Cooks”! It’s going to be weird and awesome–check it out and SUPPORT GOBLIN LOVE <3
